A Return To Talladega

With, NDTCS back after a break, after problems at the 28 lapper at Bristol and the unfinished Kentucky, the much waited return to Talladega was anticipated.

Talladega has always been a fun track to watch in NDTCS, especially with the recent finish back in 2016 with Salacri & Ninja.

Last time we saw Salacri at Talladega, he flipped up and over and caused one of the most dramatic finishes in NDTCS History.

The last lap pass met a photo finish at the end.

Today he returned back to the series, after Season 2 he was expected to run the Redline Motorsports #14, but Redline took down most operations and Ninja_Mcintrye, Redline Motorsports owner has rumored to run the team solo this season. Leaving Salacri without a team.

Salacri ran the NYM #41 car for a fill in and won granting his points and a win back to the series today at Talladega, and it was almost certain he had made the right calls along with PremiumRadiator and RustyFighter89 to stay out and pit at the right times to gain the laps back.

By lap 52 out of 55, they had caught up all the laps and were all on lead lap. That caution restart was hectic. Meaning it went to GWC, and when DDR ran 1-2 most of the day, they must have felt frustrated seeing there hopes go to waste coming to the end.

F1Star, aka Clipsal the Season 1 Champion of the INTEL SERIES, and with only 1 win in cup (New Hampshire) came back to run today and he also led a couple laps.

DDR & Clipsal were in a tough position while TheNoob a fill in driver led them off.

At the end of the GWC's the race extended on to a point where if there was another caution, the race ended under it.

And out of nowhere salacri made a move on strange coming out of turn 2, and just like that DDR was dismantled in the front.

Salacri and Non battled for one full lap before out of turn 4 and entering the tri-oval Salacri managed to pull barely infront to cease the deja vu of flipping again, and redeemed himself to win at Talladega.

He was very proud of his accomplishments and it was cool to see a longtime NDTCS driver return and win to show some of the rookies leading out there a thing or to about plate racing.

In other notes, Non (formerly known as Alysus) Leads points with 460 points up on the board.

Next weekend, we go to Road America where drivers are always having trouble and heads up your going to need a lot of backup cars and road-racing skill!
